He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary McCarthy; his daughters, Dawn McCarthy-Moragne and Meggan McCarthy; his grandchildren, Brittany, Leiana, Christopher, Emaleigh, Alyssa and Malakai; his great grandchildren, Rickey, Aaleyah and Jay'Ceon; his brother Dennis; his nieces and nephews, Lynn, Clint, Brian and Daelan; his parents, James Dee and Mary Dee; and his siblings, Jeannie, Brian and Maureen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anastasia Catholic Church (624 Douglas Ave, Waukegan, IL 60085). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at the Ascension Catholic Cemetery (1920 W Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048).
