He was predeceased by: his parents, Lula Hassett and Cyril Hassett; his daughter Linda Marie Hassett-Novak; his sister Genevieve Swafford; and his siblings-in-law, Mary O'Donnell, Mary Spika, John O'Donnell, William Smith, Francis Spika and Marvin Swafford.

He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn Spika; his children, Barbara Levedahl (Mark), Jean Henry (Ken), Jane Yarnall (David), Nancy Flary (Bob) and James Hassett (Anne); his son-in-law Joe Novak; his sister Ruth Ann Smith; and his sister-in-law Elaine Spika. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Proper social distancing must be practiced and all guests will be required to wear face masks at all times.
