He was predeceased by: his parents, Rogelio Castellanos and Carlota Melgoza; and his siblings, Maria of Jesus and Santiago. He is survived by: his wife Marisa Consuelo (Chelo); and his children, Jessica (Horacio), Carlota (Juan), Veronica (Luis), Daniela (Matthew), Karina (Raul), Irma (Felix), Cesar (Dolores), Germain (Kristine), Eloy (Angel) and Santiago. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
