He is survived by: his mother Fedelina Cano; and his siblings, Emilio Cano Jr. (Fe), Efren Cano (Maribel), Eloida Martin (Danilo), Elenita Lapuz, Elizabeth Cano, Evelyn DuBois (Reynaldo) and Emerito Cano (Maria). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
