He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward T. May and Jane May; his siblings, Agnes, Mary, Patricia, Jean, George, Elizabeth, Theresa, John "Jack" and Richard; and his son-in-law Scott (Mary).
He is survived by: his spouse Caryl Jean Koepke; his children, Mary, David (Dawn), Marjorie and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Brandon (Kelly), Kayleigh, Aaron (Lauren), Riley, Zachary, Cameron, Casey, Ross, Joshua and Lucas; his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Oliver, Brighid, Reign, Crosby, Kane and Amelia; and also Grayslake.
Ed's family requests donations to the family in lieu of flowers.
