We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2025, at the age of 59, Douglas Hayes Wardell (Gurnee, Illinois), born in Evanston, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father John (Carol Wardell); his friend Mark Peters; his siblings, Michael Wardell, Laurie Wardell (Dean Blobaum) and Amy Wardell (John Kern); and his nieces and nephews, Willow, Alanna, Matthew, Taylor, Thomas, Sam and Sarah.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Marsh Funeral Home (305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
