It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothea Jenkins of Gurnee, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 21, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Mulroney and Emma; her husband James H Jenkins Sr.; her great grandchild Jackson Peter Mendoza; her siblings, Catherine Fratus, Vince Mulroney, Frank Mulroney, George Mulroney and Richard Mulroney; and her son-in-law Peter Pekkarinen.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Pekkarinen, James H. Jenkins Jr. (Barbara), Kathleen Halligan (Kevin) and Thomas Jenkins; her grandchildren, Drew Pekkarinen (Amy), Dana Mendoza (Josh), Lauren Jenkins, Amelia Turner, Nicollette Jenkins, Andrea Bailey and Jaclyn Whiteside (Angel Roldan); and her siblings, Patricia Gibbs and James Mulroney (Pat). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
