He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth (Betty Ann). He is survived by: his children, Larry Van Heel (Lynn), Karen Figura (Mike), Mike Van Heel (Sandy) and Betsy Adamowski (Gary); his grandchildren, Katie Van Heel, Eric Figura, Alison Van Heel, Joshua Pinkard, Elizabeth Adamowski, Jake Van Heel, Gina Figura and Emily Adamowski; his stepgrandchildren, Mark and Krissy Denning; his siblings, Robert Van Heel and Dorothy Beemsterboer; his brother-in-law Larry Salamon (Maureen); and his close friend Ethna Bartels.
Due to the pandemic restrictions, a celebration of life will be in the future.
