He was predeceased by: his brother William; and his brother-in-law Robert Bisland. He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Byrne (Tim); his grandchildren, Kailyn Byrne, Emalee Byrne and Zachary Byrne; and his siblings, Betsy Bisland, Donald MacLagan, Robert MacLagan, Margaret Spriggs (Charles) and Jim MacLagan. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
