He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce; his parents, Olaf Olsen and Evelyn Olsen; and his siblings, Margaret Dumas (Lee), James and Richard Olsen.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan Brodzik Jr. (Jon); his grandchildren, Jenelle Harting (Nathan) and Timothy Brodzik (Laine); and his great grandchildren, Ryker and Olivia.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gurnee Salata Funeral Home (4190 Old Grand Ave, Gurnee, IL 60031). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1801 Green Bay Rd, North Chicago, IL 60064.
