We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2022, at the age of 71, Cherilyn M. Jackson (Gurnee, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Mitchell and Dorothy Mitchell (Edmondson); her sister Dorcele; her husband Edward; her children, Edward II (Elizabeth), Nathaniel (Kellie), Jeanae, Joshua and Rachel (Pierre); her mother-in-law Leona; her sister-in-law Rosa; and her grandchildren, Edward III, Charles, Mae, Paul, William, Josephine and Charlotte.
Committed to furthering her education, she later graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work and began working at the American Cancer Society.
