With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Michael Tschanz (Gurnee, Illinois), born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Tschanz and Kathryn Tschanz (Thorpe); and his sister Mary Kay Tschanz. He is survived by: his wife Anne Tschanz (Farrell); his children, Matthew Tschanz (Julie), Michael, Peter Tschanz (Jenna) and Colleen Tschanz Chia (Donny); his grandchildren, Kara, Jonathan, Juliana, Bradley, Ella, Tommy, Everett, Katie, Leighton and Mila; and his brothers, John Tschanz (Rita) and Tom Tschanz (Anne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ringa Funeral Home (122 S Milwaukee Ave, Lake Villa, IL 60046). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at 6401 Gages Lake Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Ascension Catholic Cemetery (1920 Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048).
