He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Hastings and Nellie Hastings (Fitzspatrick); his siblings, Mary Hoovey and Daniel Hastings; and his nephew Ronnie Broughton.
He is survived by: his former wife Theresa Connolly (Stockon); his daughter Nicole; his wife Deborah Hastings (Deboard); his children, Valorie Pullin (Jason) of Caldwell, TX, Melissa Van Dyke (Scott) of Lincoln, NE, Justin Hastings of New Lenox, IL, Alisha Raidart (Branden) of Gurnee, IL and Jillian Hastings of Chicago, IL; and his sisters, Susan Broughton, Linda Patrick and Nancy Steves. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
