She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Love and Stewart Love; her husband Edward Shymanski; her son James Shymanski; and her siblings, Stewart Love and Shirley Kussman.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Townsend of Chicago, Diane Blake of Gurnee, Lynda Claver of Gurnee and David Townsend of Falmouth, ME; her grandchildren, James Townsend of Chicago, Rebecca Palmer of Lucas, TX, Judith Bautel of Seattle, WA, Katherine Blake of Libertyville, Brittany Santos of Lindenhurst, Steven Claver of Skokie and Edward Townsend of Somerville, MA; and her sister Nita Shallow. She is also survived by her 14 great grandchildren.
