He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hayes and Colon Williams Hayes; his stepmother Mary; and his siblings, Donna Steenblock, Judy Roberts, Danny Hayes and Jerry Hayes.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hayes of Groveland; his children, Candace Cook of Pekin and Earl Hayes (Lonna) of Morton; his grandson Ian Cook of Pekin; his sister Betty Newell (Gene) of Jackson, MO.; and his pet Harry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
