It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Zachary David Thomas of Griggsville, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 17, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dave DeJaynes, Bill and Glenna Thomas. He is survived by: his mother Charlotte DeJaynes Thomas of Griggsville, IL; his grandmother Charlene DeJaynes of Pittsfield, IL; his siblings, Tyler Thomas (Emma Clendenny) of Pittsfield, IL, Brianna Thomas (Joe Poor) of Pittsfield, IL and Sierra Thomas of Macomb, IL; his nephews, Milo Jay and Elijah Dale Thomas; his girlfriend Caramia'Mia'Martin of Perry, IL; and his pet Dexter. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorials are suggested to be made to the Griggsville-Perry Athletic Boosters.
