He was predeceased by: his mother Pauline Fuller Patton; his in-laws, Maynard and Kathryn Birch; his sister Joycelyn Hutson (Ed); and his brothers-in-law, Ed Shelton, Bob La Chappell and Russell Rottenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Patton; his daughter Kathryn Bailey (Chris); his grandchildren, William Bailey, Benjamin Bailey, Katherine Bailey and Abigail Bailey; his children, Ronald David Patton, Sean Patton, Casey Patton and Carrie Sue Jordan; his siblings, Paul Duane Patton, Larry Patton (Maddona), Jeff Patton (Marsha), Mary Shelton, Kay Lachappell, Carol Patton and Susan Patton; his siblings-in-law, Ed Hutson and Lucia Rottenberg; his niece Emily Rottenberg; his brother-in-law Steven Birch (Carol); and his niece Amy Birch. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Griggsville United Methodist Church South Stanford (115 S Stanford St, Griggsville, IL 62340). A masonic service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Griggsville United Methodist Church (115 S Stanford St, Griggsville, IL 62340).
Memorials are suggested to be made to Griggsville Cemetery or Griggsville United Methodist Church.
