He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Elmo and Viola Augusta Emerson (Pfeifer); his brother Gary Emerson; and his granddaughter Ashley Marie Fencik. He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda DeSpain of Griggsville, Beth Fencik (Rick) of Chambersburg and Barbara Webel (Rick) of Versailles; his grandchildren, Chad Borrowman (Tomomi), Lyndsey Binstead (Chuck), Derek DeSpain (Caitlen), Drew DeSpain, Lexi DeSpain, Adam Fencik (Kirstie), Lauren Nergenah (John), Noah Fencik, Michael Risley (Kaytlin) and Steven Risley (Tiffany); and his brother Dale Emerson of Moweaqua, IL.. He is also survived by 4 step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren.
