He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur F. Turnbull and Gladys A. Glenn Turnbull; his wife Ellen V. Harpole; and his brothers, William, Glenn and Frank Turnbull.

He is survived by: his sons, Kent Turnbull of Pittsfield and Kevin Turnbull (Lori) of Quincy; and his grandchildren, Christina, Aaron (Allison), Sarah, Sean and Ryan Turnbull.

Memorials may be made to Bethel Cemetery or Griggsville United Methodist Church.
