He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin O. McLaughlin and Josephine McLaughlin; and his sister Sarah Jo Plattner. He is survived by: his son Craig McLaughlin (Paula) of St. David, IL; his friend Estella Zilic of Griggsville, IL; his grandsons, John Paul McLaughlin of Macomb, IL and Joseph McLaughlin (Desire) of Lewistown, IL; his great grandchildren, Joley Evyn McLaughlin of Lewistown, IL, Kalie Grace McLaughlin of Macomb, IL, Deagan John McLaughlin of Macomb, IL and Taylen Avenlee McLaughlin of Macomb, IL; and his nephews, Tom Plattner, Todd Plattner (Melanie) and John David Plattner. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and five great-great nephews; and several cousins and numerous close friends.
