She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Eldon Sleight and Leona M. Speer Sleight; her husband Archie Goewey; her daughter Christine K. Grimm; her sister Norma; her brother-in-law Lyle Pool; her half-sister Gladys Huffman; her brother John Wesley Sleight; her nephew Steve Smith; and her close friend Wayne Liehr.

She is survived by: her children, Kevin R. Goewey (Bev) of Pittsfield, Candria L. Moore (Gary) of Quincy and Kent E. Goewey (Angie) of Griggsville; her son-in-law Dennis C. Grimm of Quincy; her grandchildren, Jeffrey D. Grimm, Jacqueline K. Sterling, Bradley J. Goewey (Mindy), Jayme L. Crowder (Marcus), Tyler R. Moore (Amanda), Nathan W. Moore (Jenna Lindsay), Austin Schrader (Caitlin Kunkel) and Kalli Goewey (Avery Fader); and her sister Patricia Capps of Pittsfield. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
