We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2021, at the age of 84, Roger L. Gerig of Gridley, Illinois, born in Pontiac, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roger L. Gerig to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gerig and Opal Garber Gerig. He is survived by: his wife Carole Roden; his children, Doug Gerig (Becky) of Towanda, Steve Gerig (Angie) of Goshen, IN, Brad Gerig (Keri) of Avon, IN, Tricia Ruthe (Joel) of Freeport, IL and Donna Gerig (Jason Heissler) of Bloomington; and his brother Merle Gerig (Vi) of Gridley. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; and six step-great grandchildren.
