He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Kirkton and Jeanette Kirkton (Drury); and his wife Mary Alice Shanebrook. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Kirkton (Kerry) of Gladwin, MI and Mike Kirkton (Janet) of Gridley. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home - El Paso (40 W Main St, El Paso, IL 61738). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
