He was predeceased by: his father Neal Downen; his stepfather Harold; and his brother Donald. He is survived by: his mother June Tool Downen of Normal; his wife Susan K. Lancaster; his daughters, Shari King (Greg) of Gridley and Laura Price of Gridley; his siblings, Ron Downen (Janice) of Garden Grove, IA, Betty Landrus (Kenny) of Thompson, OH, Connie Armstrong of El Paso and Debbie Ford (Ken) of Kenney; his sister-in-law Patricia Downen of Secor; and his grandchildren, Lindsey Price, Robert Mohr, Richard and Kyle King. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
