He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Endress (Bruce), Charity Schieler (Glenn), Perry Klopfenstein, Jr., Maria Emch (Brandon) of Bucyrus, KS and Preston Klopfenstein (Kyla) of Rock Rapids, IA; his sister Alice Stevig; and his sister-in-law Miriam Klopfenstein of Anderson, SC. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gridley Apostolic Christian Church (319 E 7th St, Gridley, IL 61744). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Gridley Cemetery E (900 North Rd, Illinois).
