He was predeceased by: his parents, Carthol Boyd Wilson and Ruth Ann Herrington Wilson; his siblings-in-law, Sue Wilson and Daniel Hinton; and his in-laws, Leo and Margaret Hale Hinton.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Wilson (Cyndi) of Church Hill, TN; his son Russell Wilson (Tabitha) of Fairbury, IL; his stepchildren, Alice Thacker (Billy) of Church Hill, TN and Charles Clark Jr. (Lisa) of Church Hill, TN; his grandchildren, Wesley, Timothy Wilson, Chase White and Aubree Clark; his siblings, Julie Swope, Laurie Herlickman (Scott), Brian Wilson, Megan Thimmig (Paul), Steve Wilson (Diane), Australian and Cathy Boyce (David); and his in-laws, Gail Seward, Cheryl Hinton and Chris Hinton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
