He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gipson and Mamie Gipson (Skimahorn). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy E. Gipson; his daughters, Julie Smith (Stan) of Olive Branch, MS and Lisa Terrio (George) of St. Charles, MO; and his grandchildren, Sara Buckles (Josh) of St. Charles, Rachel Payne (Jeff) of O'fallon, MO, Amanda McBride (Keith) of Dardenne Prairie, MO, Joshua Terrio (Kristy) of Troy, MO, Shanea Terrio of St. Charles, MO and Heather Garrison (John) of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Woburn Baptist Church, 1513 Woburn Avenue, Greenville, IL 62246. The family asks that donations be made to the church in lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts.
