He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Ashby and Jessie Aileen Compton (Holdzkom); and his brother Kent Compton. He is survived by: his children, Matt Compton (Kim Smithson) of Champaign, Sara Wealti (Jayson) of Evansville, WI and Emily Reed (Joe) of Hillsboro, OR; and his grandchildren, Kai, Harper Wealti and Jackson Reed.
