It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxine Maroon (Greenville, Illinois), born in Pittsburg, Illinois, who passed away on August 23, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard and Fern (Whitford); her sons, Leslie Maroon and David Maroon; and her siblings, Marilyn Peterson, Lucille Gum and George Koontz.

She is survived by: her husband Harry Maroon; her children, Vicki Boatright (Terry) of Carlyle, Rosetta Blankenship (Larry) of Greenville, Roger "Whitey" Maroon and Randy "Ham" Maroon (Angela) of Donnellson, IL.; and her brother Dean Koontz (Mary). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Greenville Nursing and Rehab Activities Department.
