He was predeceased by: his parents, Urban L. Ridings and Beatrice Ridings (Travis); and his son Richard 'Rick Ridings. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Ann Prior of Greenville; his sons, James M. Ridings (Linda Kenworthy) of Greenville, IL, Timothy Ridings (Marilyn Dir) of Kewanee, IL, Bart Ridings (Roberta 'Bobbie') of Morton, IL, Joel Ridings (Linda) of Haines City, FL and Rodney Baker (Yuko); his daughter-in-law Barbara Ridings of Greenville, IL; and his brother Melford 'Bud Ridings of Jerseyville, IL.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Little Flock Church, C/O Tom Lewis, 420 Cherry Street, Edwardsville, IL 62025. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in James Thomas 'Jim' Ridings's name.
