She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Raymond L. Wayne and Lola D. Wayne (Thornton); her husband Everett Smith; her son Rick Smith of Carlyle; her granddaughter Kate Smith of Pocahontas; and her siblings, Roy Wayne, Wilda Gurlen and Barbara Wayne.
Memorials can be made to the charity of the donor's choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
