It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Corning of Greenville, Illinois, who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gordon Corning to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Corning and Thelma Corning (Bell); his wife Barbara Dalton; his daughter Ellen Childerson; and his brothers, Donald Corning, Chester Corning and George Corning.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Kay Corning and Gail Wall (Larry); his son-in-law Mike Childerson (Anne); his grandchildren, Shane Cress (Karen), Erin Muhlenkamp (Tylor), Kacie Wall, Tyler Wall (Mandy), Phillip Childerson (Brittany), Laura Wufsus (Adam) and Peter Childerson; and his siblings, Harry Corning, Evelyn Wilson and Violet Bauer. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
