He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Homer and Nellie Irene McGuire (Harlan); his daughter Gwendolyn Sue McGuire; his brother Dean McGuire; and his stepdaughter Carol Bourgeois.
He is survived by: his son Glen Shannon McGuire; his grandchildren, Colton McGuire, Olivia McGuire, Kendra McGuire, Trent Crump (Casondra) and Travis Crump; his siblings, Virginia Wilkening (Richard Armbruster), Don McGuire (Kelli) and Brenda Goodson; and his stepchildren, Robert Etcheson, Margaret Smith, Bonnie Etcheson and Connie Etcheson.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and at 6:15 PM at the Assalley-Young Funeral Home (118 E College Ave, Greenville, IL 62246).
