It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Hicks of Greenville, Illinois, born in Greenway, Arkansas, who passed away on February 10, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Henry Hicks and Glendora Steen Hicks; his siblings, Charles Hicks, Rebecca Hicks and LaDonna Hicks; his sisters-in-law, Michelle Hicks, Maureen Timmons, Paulette Jeffers and Donna Kimme; and his parents-in-law, Betty Cumberland, Paul Lusk and James Cumberland.
He is survived by: his wife RexAnn Hicks; his children, Tracy Funderburk (Troy) of Pocahontas, IL and Jason Hicks (Heather); his grandchildren, William Funderburk (Gabrielle Randall), Carissa Handegan (Brian) and Cassandra Potts (Shane); his great grandchildren, Autumn and Lexianna Handegan; his siblings, Terry Hicks, Doug Hicks (Carol), Lana Hernandez (Lorenzo) and Belinda Nelson; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Noggle, James Noggle, Christopher Cumberland, Daureen Cumberland (Frank), Kimberly Brewer (Rodney), Sharon Uzzle (Thom), Cindy Patz and Eva Sterling (Wes). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
