It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Desherlia (Greenville, Illinois), born in Van Buren, Missouri, who passed away on May 11, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Dawson and Ina Dawson (Cowen); her son Bruce Rhodes; her grandson Shawn Smith; and her siblings, Robert Dawson, Thomas Dawson and Pauline Rector.
She is survived by: her children, Tammie Kissiar of Pearland, TX, Mike Rhodes (Marsha) of Smithboro, IL, Lisa (Wayne Kious) of Dwight, IL and Rick Rhodes (Angie) of Vandalia; her daughter-in-law Debbie Rhodes of Mulberry Grove; her grandchildren, Sammi Jo Rhodes (Michael Peters), Randa Rhodes (Christian Dawson), Stephanie (Johnny Joy), Shae Kissiar, Dustin Rhodes, Brandon Rhodes, Kylie Kious (Jake Wilson), Kiefer Kious, Colton Rhodes (Chezney Hunt), Jenna Olson (Nick DePaolo) and Allison Perry; her great grandchildren, Travis Finch, Breanna Jo Merkel, Kirsten Merkel, Brynlee Dawson, Bentley Rhodes, Kinzlee Rhodes, Todd DePaolo and Delta DePaolo; and her siblings, William Dawson, Jim Dawson, Gilbert Dawson (Linda), Betty Pike, Barbara (Lonnie Cowin) and Sharon (Tom Nevares).
