David Palm Obituary
We bid farewell to David Palm of Greenville, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 14, 2025 at the age of 77. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Palm and Dorene Palm (Wilkey); his son Martin Phillips; his brother Mark Palm; and his brother-in-law Gregg Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Cook; his children, Eric Palm of Hoffman, Shawn Palm of Salem, Christopher Phillips of Salem and Malcolm Cook of Kansas City; his grandchildren, Seraphim Palm of Salem and Noelle Gaco of St. Louis; his sisters, Debra Foster of Hoffman and Cynthia Storment of Olney; and his uncle Kenneth Wilkey of College Station, TX. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Zieren Funeral Home (1111 Clinton St, Carlyle, IL 62231). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
