It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty J Redding of Greenville, Illinois, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Emil and Opal F. Pryor (Huber); her husband Alvin E. Redding; and her sister Joann Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Don Redding (Dee) of Sorento, IL, Donna Hasenmyer (Steve) of Greenville, IL, Rick Denny (Doris) of Hillsboro, IL, Sheryl Denny of Gillespie, IL, Gail Smith (Doug) of New Douglas, IL and Jennifer Hoxsey of Sorento, IL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2 grand dogs.
The family asks that donations be made in lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts to the Reno-Bethel Cemetery.
