She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Douglas and Joyce Collins (Sells); and her brother Douglas Collins. She is survived by: her husband Allen Troy Farthing of Greenville, IL; her daughters, Shelby Farthing (Dale Shelburne) of Plainfield, IN and Samantha Farthing of Greenville, IL; and her sister Laura Kerestly of Abilene, TX..
During the pandemic, she worked at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL. In response to the fear and uncertainty of the pandemic, Beth said, "We are nurses, we mask up, gown up, and go right in.".
Memorial contributions may be given to the ALS Association – Indiana Chapter, P.O. Box 56023, Indianapolis, IN 46256. The family asks that donations be made in lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, as this organization is very important in their lives.
