He was predeceased by: his parents, Isadore J. Volk and Minnie I. Volk (Cox); his son Robert; and his grandchildren, Robert, Jr. and Samantha.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Bigger; and his children, Scott Volk of Hudson and Margaret Volk of Bloomington. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great great-grandchildren; one brother.
