She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernie "Hooker" and Marjorie Houser (Bell); her spouse Russell Hawes; and her siblings, Terry, Vic, Charles "Bud", Gene, Butch Houser, Ethel Faye Warner, Connie Sue Starwalt, Marjorie Ann Trostle, Evelyn Matteson and Shirley Stanley.
She is survived by: her children, Rusty Hawes (Beverly) of Effingham, Kathy Preston (Joe) of Greenup, Sandy Collins (Bobby) of Mattoon, Sharon Conner (Gary) of Martinsville, IL and Joyce Lubbers (Greg) of Mishawaka, IN; and her sisters, Rose Eggers, Dixie Seiler and Carolyn Byrnes. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
