She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oliver and Gladys Shofner (Sherwood); her husband Bill L. Thomas; and her siblings, Sherwood Shofner, Ruby Hutson and Maurice Shofner.
She is survived by: her children, Irvin Thomas (Patricia Jo) of Greenup and Cheryl Brandenburg (Bill) of Greenup; her grandchildren, Jason Brandenburg (Sasha) of Metamora, Kelley Brandenburg of Armington, Billy Brandenburg of Mackinaw, Zachary Thomas of Normal and Nicole Brandenburg of Mackinaw; and her great grandchildren, Arthur and Genevieve Brandenburg. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Greenup Public Library.
