He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Smith and Edema Smith (Darling); and his siblings, Jim, Howard Smith and Thelma Joyce Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Weir; his children, Marlen Smith of Greenup, Toni Mullen (Mike) of Casey and Laura Morecraft (Matt) of Charleston, IL; his sisters, Vera Carr (Henry) and Hanna Keller (Mike); and his grandchildren, Austin Smith (Courtney), Amber Tipsword (Clayton), Stephen Smith, Hunter Smith, Calista Taylor, Megan Morecraft, Madison Morecraft and Emma Morecraft.
