With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronnie Dean Carlen Sr. of Greenup, Illinois, born in Casey, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2024 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Dale Sr. and Catherine Carlen (Richardson); his brother Russell Carlen Jr.; and his grandsons, R. D. and Bryce Carlen.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Gentry; his children, Ronnie Dean Carlen Jr. (Linda), Randy Carlen (Donna), Dirk Carlen (Debbie), Robyn Morgan (Greg) and Cathy Feltner (Bruce); his grandchildren, Samantha Adams (Marcus), Becky Sims (Jeff), Sierra Feltner, Josh Feltner, Nicole Hageny (Matt), Clint Carlen (Breanna), Dexter Carlen (Michael), Jarod Carlen (Danielle), Kim Lyons (Chad Hoopingarner), Chelsea Dolly (Cody), Curtis Carlen (Jodi), Cole Carlen (Bree) and Cammy Carlen; his great grandchildren, Payton, Nat, Corey, Evan, Veronica, Ivan, Riley, Faith, Kaisen, Kyler, Kolten, Josiah, Eisley, Kail, Elizabeth, Makenzi, Sophia, Elijah, Landyn, Mavery, Elliott, Landon, Charlee, Jordyn, Lynlee, Adriana, George, Hunter, Hailey, Braylon, Dylan (Jazzmine), Jimmie, Jacob and Kyndal; and his great great grandchild Oaklyn.
