It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald L. Jones of Greenup, Illinois, born in Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on August 21, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, Gary Jones and Frank Jones; and his nephew Jeremiah Jones. He is survived by: his girlfriend Ann Ellico of Greenup; his sons, Kasey Jones of Greenup and Korey Jones of Galveston; his pet Rosie; and his siblings, Don "Bucky" Jones (Sharon), David Jones (Melissa) and Sheila Parkhouse.

In loving memory of Ron, memorials may be made to the Cumberland County Veterans Association, or the Coles County Animal Shelter.
