He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Brandenburg; his son Travis Warner Brandenburg (Jessica); his siblings, Rosie Walden (Orval), Vera Ferguson, Mary Schupp, Pat Evans (Gary), Doris Goad, Joe Brandenburg (Ann), Jim Brandenburg and Ron Brandenburg (Marlene); his uncle Gean Brandenburg; and his aunt Bertie Brown.
