He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Markwell and Freda Markwell (Dunn); his brothers-in-law, Randy McElravy and Larry Henderson; and his grandparents, Louis, Bonnie Markwell, Gerald and Cleo Dunn.
He is survived by: his wife Marla Markwell; his daughter Lori Kingery (Josh); his grandchildren, Tanner Kingery (Morgan) and Kenzie Kingery (Keegan); his siblings, Bob Markwell (Carol), Bill Markwell (Mary Lou), Joyce Henderson and Sandy McElravy; his siblings-in-law, Deann Brickzin (Brent), Cindy Markwell, Clark Markwell (Kay) and Ray Markwell (Gladys); and his niece Mabel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Cumberland Rehab and Health Care Center or Friends Grove Church.
