It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marjorie Shafer (Greenup, Illinois), who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Wood and Ivy Wood (Sperry); her husband Ivan Shafer; and her sister Eileen Fogleman. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Eric, Lisa Light of Effingham, Ryan, Linda Light of St. Charles, Evan, Kevin Morphew and Paige Wilson of Chicago; her great grandchildren, Ian, Laurel Light, Emily, Logan Light and Henry James Morphew; and her stepgrandson Nathan Riha. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to Covid concerns, a private Graveside service held.
