He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Washburn and Lula Carolyn Washburn (Robey); his brother Vernon Washburn; and his granddaughter Addyson Marie Maynard. He is survived by: his children, Elliott Washburn and Jenny Marie Maynard (Kevin); his stepdaughter Lori Wilson (Scott); his grandchildren, Allyson Marie Maynard, Kristin Stout, Kendall Wilson and Mitchell Wilson; his great grandchildren, Jesse James Whitaker and Levi Alexander Whitaker; and his sister Barbara Watson.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Barkley Funeral Chapel (300 N Kentucky St, Greenup, IL 62428). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Greenup VFW Post #4598.
