George Lee Kemper Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2023, at the age of 90, George Lee Kemper of Greenup, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kemper and Bertha Kemper (Doughty); his sisters, Daphena Owen, Donna Matteson and Barbara Mauk; his grandson Donald Kenneth Roley II; and his son-in-law Ken Roley.
He is survived by: his wife Martha; his sister Ruth Chapman (Steve); his stepson Kenneth Black (Peggy); his daughter Joy Roley; his grandchildren, Jessica Sumpter (Buddy), Jeremy Black (Diana) and Justin Roley (Laura); and his great grandchildren, Davis Roley, Simon Roley, Julia Sumpter, Drew Sumpter, Cole Black, Austin Black and Blake Black.
Memorials may be made to the local VFW or American Legion chapters.
