It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everett Finney of Greenup, Illinois, born in Casey, Illinois, who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Leroy and Stella Mae Finney (Ratts); his wife Marjorie Devall; and his siblings, Leon, Robert, Victor, Charles, Vera, Kathleen and Florence.

He is survived by: his children, Teresa Sowers (Duff), John Meadows (Nancy) and Leslie Finney; his grandchildren, Nikki Hetzel, Cynthia Finney, Jason Snader, Jeremy Snader and Bryan Hicks; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Talley and Jude Hetzel.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to either American Cancer Assoc or the First Southern Baptist Church in Greenup.
